Victoria Stiles Teams With Sigma Makeup for a Giveaway

This industry is so exciting to be in, especially when I get the opportunity to meet new cosmetic companies as well as, my favorite, brush manufacturers.  I could not do what I do without a makeup brush, not just any brush, a quality product that will not fall apart.  Throughout my career, I’ve tried just about any and every makeup brush and, of course, I have my favorites.  Recently I was introduced to Sigma Makeup Brushes.  The company graciously sent me a set so I put them to the test.  This was almost two months ago now and I’m happy to report they have earned a spot in my kit!  They are comparable to major makeup brand brushes, but the price is not, they are way less than M.A.C., Bobbi Brown, etc.

In celebration of this fabulous find, I’m pleased to announce the company has offered me 2 sets for a contest to run on my beauty blog, Makeup Artist Backstage. The contest, posted today, is set to run through June 30, 2010 and the winner will be announced on July 1, 2010.

Latest Press: Best Things In Beauty Spotlight

Interview with Best Things In Beauty:

“Victoria Stiles, or Vicki for short, is a young, go-getter makeup artist with an impressive resume and incredible momentum in the industry. If you haven’t already heard about her, you will. Remember reading this post! I’m going to introduce you to Vicki here for a couple of reasons.

* I really like her; I knew from our first contact that she’s a warm, inclusive, sweet gal – someone I wanted to count as a friend.
* I know some of you want to know what it takes to become an established makeup artist (hint: talent and hard work).
* I’d love to share some of Vicki’s everyday makeup tips with you.

Vicki had a passion for makeup in her early teens! Her parents gave her the ultimate gift, the master bedroom suite with lots of space and her own bathroom, and she turned her little suite into a makeup lab of sorts. At 14, she had subscriptions to all the beauty and fashion magazines, including Allure, of course.”
