LimeLight by Alcone: User Friendly Pro Makeup

As a professional artist in the field for over 15 years, I seek out brands that work well in any event, from a wedding to a photo session and even a live on-camera television hit.  It becomes quite cumbersome as a professional artist to haul around a huge kit of different products.  However, as you may imagine, it is extremely difficult to find products that look natural in daylight but also translate well to photography and video, especially in these days of high definition.

Enter LimeLight by Alcone— A professional line of cosmetics by a veteran makeup brand that fits my needs as a pro makeup artist.  Best yet, it is available to ANYONE, not just professionals.

Proof is in the pics!  Check out these completely unedited before/after and on camera pictures of today’s on-air talent:

This before and after was taken in the exact same natural light, no retouching.
Here is a screenshot of how LimeLight by Alcone products translate to on-camera.

I’m currently compiling a kit of these products for her use while she is working on location.    This brand is user friendly, that’s the beauty of it!  She will have no problem learning my quick techniques to use on herself for that perfect camera ready look!

Latest Feature and Accolades: Style Me Pretty, Washingtonian Bride and Groom, and WeddingWire

It has been quite a year in wedding hair and makeup! I am very pleased to announce, for the sixth year in a row, I have received the WeddingWire Couples’ Choice Award for 2014! This news comes in addition to receiving Washingtonian’s Bride and Groom Best Vendor Award for 2014! Because of my wonderful brides and their rave reviews of my hair and makeup services, these awards were made possible.

Thank you to each and every bride who has entrusted their special day in my hands! It is always an honor to be granted a huge part in creating memories that will last a lifetime!  Thank you!

In other fabulous news, Style Me Pretty picked up this gorgeous wedding of mine from last year.  Genna came to me last year with very specific direction for her hair and makeup.  The result was ethereal and elegant, perfect for her glam rustic venue at Murray Hill.  Special thanks to Victoria Berkeley hair and makeup artist who worked with me on this wedding.
